When Does Honkai: Star Rail Version 1.6 Start?

Honkai Star Rail version 1.6, "Crown of the Mundane and Divine," is the final major update coming to the game before the Astral Express heads to Penacony, the planet of Festivities in version 2.0.

Before that happens, however, there's plenty to look forward to in version 1.6, which also includes the game's first free 5-star banner run for Dr. Ratio. But when exactly does version 1.6 begin? If you plan to hop into the game's latest update on day 1, you're in the right place. Here's when Honkai: Star Rail version 1.6 kicks off. 

Honkai: Star Rail Version 1.6 Start Time

Honkai: Star Rail version 1.6, "Crown of the Mundane and Divine," will begin on 26 December 2023 at 10 PM ET / 7 PM PT (4 AM CET on 27 December if you're in Europe.) The end date for version 1.6 has yet to be confirmed, but you could expect it to end on 6 February 2024. 

Phase 1 of Honkai: Star Rail version 1.6 will begin on 26 December 2023 and should end on 17 January 2024. It will feature two five-star banners. These will be Ruan Mei (Wind, Harmony) and Blade (Wind, Destruction).

The four-star characters that will get a boost during phase 1 of version 1.6 are March 7th (Ice, Harmony), Tingyun (Lightning, Harmony), and Xueyi (Quantum, Destruction).

Phase 2 of Honkai: Star Rail version 1.6 should begin on 17 January 2024. It will also feature two five-star banners, with one being free. These will be Dr. Ratio and Kafka. 

The four-star characters that will get a boss during phase 2 of version 1.6 are Hook (Fire, Destruction), Natasha (Physical, Abundance), and Sushang (Physical, Hunt).
