Hearthstone Crossroads Inn-vitational: Schedule, players, prize pool, rules, and how to watch

Two weeks have passed since the release of Hearthstone's latest expansion, Forged in the Barrens, which means that it's time for a new Inn-vitational tournament.

It has become Blizzard's tradition to gather the biggest Hearthstone content creators right after the release of a new expansion in order to showcase new cards and decks by holding a huge tournament.

Hearthstone Crossroads Inn-vitational comes right after the recent nerfs which means it is a perfect time for players to explore some new ideas and show their creativity with new cards.

Biggest Hearthstone streamers, new decks, and a lot of money on the line - an event you don't want to miss!

Here is everything you need to know about it.

Hearthstone Crossroads Inn-vitational Schedule

Crossroads Inn-vitational will be a 1-day event, scheduled for 21st April 2021.

The tournament starts at 10 am PT / 1 pm PT / 7 pm CET.

Crossroads Inn-vitational rules and format

Invited players are split into two teams of 10.

• Each player will bring one 30-cards deck with at least 10 cards from Forged in the Barrens.
• Each player will play two best-of-three rounds against different opponents on the opposing team.
• One team point will be awarded for each individual game victory.
• Three team points will be awarded for a clean 2-0 sweep.
• The 3rd round is called BARRENS BLITZ:
  - A best-of-five where all players are required to have Nozdormu the Eternal in their decks.
  - One team point will be awarded for each individual game victory.
  - Five team points will be awarded for a 3-0 sweep.
• When a player loses a round for the first time, any team points earned by that player are doubled in the next round.

The tournament features 20 top Hearthstone streamers and content creators, split into two teams: the Northwatch Hold and Camp Taurajo.

Crossroads Inn-vitational prize pool

The event boasts a hefty prize pool with a total of $100,000 prize money for players to earn.

Blizzard hasn't yet revealed how will teams and players split the money, but we reckon that it will be based on the individual wins.
