The first mini-event, Fracture: Tenrai, is well underway in Halo Infinite, although not without a few issues, mainly the questionable design of its progression system, which doesn't allow players to unlock everything from the event during the first week of its first occurrence (though it will come back in January).
And while players are waiting for the campaign and trying to grind the rewards in this event, the first details about some future events have already started to circle around the web thanks to some leaks.
The leaked event is called Tactical Ops, and read on to learn everything we currently know about it.
What is the Tactical Ops event in Halo Infinite?
Tactical Ops is a Halo Infinite in-game event planned for February of next year. It will be similar in structure to the current in-game event, Fracture: Tenrai, which means that it will come with a new (and assumably free) event pass for players to grind rewards, as well as some rewards earned for just booting up the game during the event.
It will also come with some new limited-time items which will be added to the game's shop for purchase.
Finally, just like the Fiesta mode in Fracture: Tenrai, Tactical Ops will feature its own special playlist with the new Tactical mode.
According to the leak, this will be the playlist for the mode:
- Tactical Slayer
- Tactical One Flag
- Tactical CTF
- Tactical Strongholds
- Tactical Elimination
- Tactical Attrition
- Tactical Oddball
- Tactical King of the Hill.
We currently don't have the exact details when it comes to the mode's rules and settings.
Tactical Ops rewards
Leaker iFireMonkey, who is a well-known dataminer, has revealed a list of rewards players can expect to obtain via the event pass during the Tactical Ops event.

According to iFireMonkey, Tactical Ops will be a two-week event, set to kick off on 8th February 2022 and end on 21st February 2022.
That's currently everything we know about the event, but given that it's planned two months away from now, we can expect more details to appear in the coming weeks, either via leaks or official sources.
