Genshin Impact v1.3: Banners for the Lantern Rite event

We are just a few hours away from the launch of the latest update for miHoYo's acclaimed RPG, Genshin Impact, and with this will come new content focused on the Lantern Rite event, a holiday celebrated by the entire town of Teyvat within the game.

A few days ago we talked about the debut of Xiao, the Vigilante Yaksha also known as the Conqueror of Demons, who will be one of the main protagonists of version 1.3.

This time, we bring you all the details of the banners available during the Lantern Rite event, where you can get new legendary weapons, and above all, how you can get the opportunity to get Xiao for your team.

Invitation to Mundane Life

The star banner of this update will be the so-called "Invitation to Mundane Life", where players will find they have a greater chance of getting Xiao, the new exclusive five-star Anemo character. Diona (Cryo), Beidou (Electro) and Xinyan (Pyro) will also have a higher spawn rate.

This banner will be available from the release of version 1.3, until the 17th of February.

Epitome Invocation

Continuing with another highly anticipated banner, "Epitome Invocation" will bring with it exclusive legendary weapons to strengthen your team, with a higher chance of obtaining the Primordial Jade Cutter (sword), and the Primordial Jade Winged-Spear (polearm, Xiao's signature weapon).

In addition to these, the probability of obtaining The Flute (sword), Sacrificial Greatsword (claymore), Rust (bow), Eye of Perception (catalyst) and Favonius Lance (polearm) will be higher.

This banner will be available from the release of version 1.3, until the 23rd of February.

Dance of Lanterns

The last banner of the event, “Dance of Lanterns”, will be focused on Keching, a five-star character who happens to be one of the main organizers of the Lantern Rite. Keching is Electro-type and uses the sword as her main weapon.

In addition to Keching, four-star characters like Ninguang (Geo), Bennett (Pyro) and Barbara (Hydro) will have a greater chance of spawning, allowing you to upgrade your team with more than useful characters in any composition.

This banner will be available from the 17th February to 2nd March.
