Genshin Impact 4.6 update has been released, and even though it has not added a new Archon quest, which might be a disappointment for many, multiple world quests are available for players to complete. One of them is the Prisoner in Shacklers quest that you will unlock after completing Canticle of Harmony Second Movement quest.
One of the sub-quests that you have to complete is The Last Day of Rumeria, which you can complete by breaking the chains that bind Scylla by going to the Sea of Bygone Eras and tracking down Boethius. Here is how to do it.
How To Break The Chains That Bind Scylla In Genshin Impact
You will have to break a total of three chains and there is a different mechanic attached to each one of them. Follow each chain one by one and using the solutions explained below, you will be able to break them easily.
Chain #1
Once you reach the other end of the chain, you will see it being tied to a rock pillar. Go near it and a dialogue will start with guards. After that, defeat them and go near the pillar. Press "T" on your keyboard or the respective keybind on the controller to get the ability of symphony. Press and hold "E" to use this skill to play a symphony and break the leash.
Chain #2
Go to the other end of the second chain and defeat the guards and their boss. This will trigger a dialogue and after that. Once it is over, simply go near the pillar and use the skill.
Chain #3
Once you reach the other end of the third chain, you will see jellyfish circling the rock pillar with musical notes over them. Your goal is to go near them one by one and once they are in a position with purple flowers inside their aura, you need to use the symphony elemental skill just like before and stop them. After that, you will have to go near the pillar and use the skill to break the final leash.
