Far Cry 6 - All Criptograma Chests and Charts locations

In Far Cry 6, Criptograma Chests are lootable chests that can be unlocked through Criptograma Charts utilised as keys. To unlock these chests would require two charts per chest for which there are 30 Criptograma Charts and 15 Criptograma Chests.

While the chests are marked with a white chest on the HUD or minimap, the charts aren’t. But their locations are nearby the chest locations which is marked with blue illustrations pointing in the general direction of the charts.

Another indicator of the location of a Criptograma Chart is to listen out for the sound of wind chimes so be sure that the audio in-game is turned up.

This guide will provide players with the locations for all 15 Criptograma Chests which when unlocked, can be looted for high-quality gear. We will also provide guidance to locate the Criptograma Charts required to unlock the chests.

Criptograma Chest #1

In Armonia, Isla Santuario, the first chest can be located on the front porch at a house northwest of this town. The charts aren’t too far from the chest location as the first chart is on the roof of the house while the second chart can be found inside a tubular structure on the right side of the house.

Criptograma Chest #2

The next chest and set of charts can be found at Serpentino Park in El Dorado Cabins. Using your grappling hook, locate the tower and zip yourself to the top where the chest can be seen on a small table.

Head south of the chest location to a nearby beach where the next set of charts can be found here. The first chart is found on a large rock with a blue arrow above it while the next chart is fixed to a large boulder to the left of the large rock.

Criptograma Chest #3

Heading to Aguda Cliffs in the town of Poesia, make your way to the town’s jetty where the chest is located at the base of a structure and a blue arrow above pointing left. For the charts, follow the pointed direction from the chest location to the nearby lighthouse where the chart can be found behind some rocks.

Players may need to use a water scooter to locate this chart.

The second chart is in the area around the lighthouse, however, taking the right path going towards the lighthouse, rappel yourself onto a cliff with the grappling hook to find the chart.

Criptograma Chest #4

In Verdera, Lozania, the next chest is easily located at the back of the El Paraiso billboard. To locate the charts, the first one is on the water tank platform at the house to the right of the billboard. Head down the street to the last house with a water tank on its roof for the second chart.

Criptograma Chest #5

Travel to Ida’s Refuge at Aguas Lindas where you will need to find a building near the dockside pickup point at the jetty. On the balcony of this building is where the chest can be found.

For the first chart, travel to the nearby island on the right side of the dockside pickup point. Atop of a cliff is a blue apron hanging above the cliff where the chart can be found. The next chart is underwater, using the water scooter, travel towards the direction of a set of wooden pillars where a blue apron can also be spotted.

Here, head underwater below the pillars for the next chart which is nailed down on a wooden plank.

Criptograma Chest #6

At Balaceras, locate the construction site on the south side of Feroza. Spot the greenhouse with a water tank where the chest can be found next to the greenhouse. To locate the charts, from the greenhouse, go right to find a junkyard. Destroy wooden pallets on the end of the container to the right for the first chart.

The second isn’t far from this location as you will need to find an old run-downed vehicle along the exterior of the junkyard. To get to the car, players will need to destroy the pallets blocking the door of the vehicle. Near the steering wheel is the next chart.

Criptograma Chest #7

Head to Cruz Del Salvador and look out for an open field where a watchtower is in the centre of the field. Using a grappling hook, climb to the top of the watchtower where you can find the next chest.

Both charts are somewhat located underground, on opposing sides of the field, one on the left side and one on the right side of the watchtower. Both charts are found inside a hole however wooden pallets are covering the hole.

There is a gasoline tank above each hole which will need to be rigged for an explosion to destroy the pallets. Drop down the hole to find the chart inside the hole.

Criptograma Chest #8

Head south of the Guillermo Castillo Bay at Noventarmas where you will encounter a flooded area. Near the buildings is an old tower where the chest is located at the base of the tower.

Using the ladder to the right of the tower, ascend to the top using a grappling hook and crawling vines. A wind chime can be spotted to the left of the first chart.

To reach the second chart, locate a smaller tower behind the location of the first chart for which if players equip a wingsuit, can jump to the smaller tower and plunge into the water here. Using the tower’s entrance at the bottom, climb the tower for the next chart.

Criptograma Chest #9

Travel to Muerte Point in Rubén where the chest can be seen beside a sign that reads “No Pase”. The first chart is nearby as players will head towards the jetty and beneath the jetty is the first chart.

The second chart can be found inside a cave. Players will have to decide whether to shoot down the orange-coloured nets blocking the entrance found near the shoreline or head down the path behind the location of the chest. Either way, both options will lead players to the chart on a plank inside the cave.

Criptograma Chest #10

For the next chest, travel to La Joya and look for the People’s Pride Clinic. On the roof of the clinic is the chest in one of the corners.

Jump onto the roof of a building to your right where near a ventilation pipe is the chart fixed beside a chair. Head to the beach and look for a building closest to the beach. Climb to the top of this building using a grappling hook where on one of the water tanks is the next chart.

Criptograma Chest #11

In Causto De Paso Lagoon in the Barriga Swamps, search for a jetty with a water scooter beside it for the chest. Taking the water scooter, travel left of the swamps to the next jetty where a chart can be found nailed to the hut. Head straight from this location to another hut where a fire can be seen nearby. The chart is also nailed to the hut.

Travel next to Casa Marroquín north of Savannah Fields. Locate a cabin with a water tank on its roof where the chest can be found beside the tank.

Travel to the opposite side of the swamps and find an animal pen for the first chart located inside the pen. Head south from the animal pen and look for a hut where the chart is nailed on the outside.

Criptograma Chest #13

In the town of Concepción, locate Corazon Alley and to the left side of a group of NPCs in the alley, climb onto the roof of a building and zipline down to reach the chest near some barrels.

Guided by an arrow, head in the direction of a local stall and at the cabin on the right, head inside to find the chart near a set of stairs. Go up these stairs onto a balcony and jump down to reach a house. Look for the back wall where a ladder can be spotted. Climb the ladder to find the chart against a wall.

Criptograma Chest #14

On the outskirts of Esperanza, locate a house to the right side of a billboard. The chest is seen near the home’s door.

Locate an apartment building with a billboard affixed to it and rappel yourself to a balcony with a grappling hook. By following the arrow, the first chart can be found on the balcony.

To reach the next building, use a zipline to cross over to the building. Using the grappling hook and vines, climb onto the building’s roof to find the next chart.

Criptograma Chest #15

For the final chest, find the La Divinidad Cathedral and head north from the church to find some houses. Look for the house with some writing or graffiti on its wall and climb onto its roof. Jump across to the left onto the house’s rooftop for the final chest.

Backtrack to the first house you climbed and head down the stairs beside the house. Players should see a house with a balcony attached for which you would need to jump onto the balcony for the first chart.

Using the door located to the right on the balcony, jump down onto a platform and enter the door on your left. The rooftop of another can be spotted which you will need to jump onto its roof for the final chart.
