Team Vitality Adds Jeonnding To Tekken 8 Roster

With the fighting scene set to culminate this year at EVO Japan 2024, teams are busy building their rosters out with some of the best talent around. For Team Vitality, a brand new signing will see South Korean player Jeon “Jeondding” Sanghyeon join the Tekken 8 roster. 

"When I first got contacted by Team Vitality, I couldn't believe it!," Jeondding said. "I wondered if I could join a huge team like this, and now that dream has come true.

While exchanging with the organisation, I started to get to know more and more about the identity of the club… and it gave me goosebumps. I want to grow with this club, continue to be a great player and bring new titles on Tekken 8 for Team Vitality!"

Jeondding is a well-known name in the Tekken scene, having ranked amongst the top two players in the Tekken 7 World Tour Grand Finals 2022 and top eight in 2023. He also took home the champion title in both the VSFighting XI 2023 and CEO 2023 tournaments.

The player is also known for his penchant for learning the "overlooked" characters, such as Eddy Gordo who Jeondding will no doubt be flexing his skills with when he represents Team Vitality at EVO Japan.

Evolution Championship Series: Japan 2024 (EVO Japan 2024) will be taking place in Tokyo from April 27 - 29, 2024. In Tekken 8, players will be competing for a ¥1,000,000  prize pool (roughly $6,467).
