Diablo Immortal Server Mergers: Merging Date & Regions

As inevitable as a Barbarian using Whirlwind and running straight into a pack of elites, the first Diablo Immortal server merger is on the horizon. Blizzard recently added the Character Transfer feature and announced some servers in various regions would be merging.

This article explains everything you need to know about the Diablo Immortal server mergers, including all affected servers and regions and the date these mergers will occur.

Update on 7 July 2023: We've updated this article to reflect the latest time and date server mergers will take place in Diablo Immortal.

When do Diablo Immortal Servers Merge? Date & Time

The next server merger date and time for Diablo Immortal is currently unknown.

In a recent post, Blizzard noted the reason for Diablo Immortals server merges, explaining: "This change is being made, so players will have an easier time finding other players to party up with regardless of the server they play on."

On 27th October 2022, Blizzard released Diablo Immortal Season 6 and noted that with the first content update in "two weeks," some servers will merge.

So what is the exact date and time of the server merger in Diablo Immortal? Well, there is no official date and time just yet. However, based on when updates get pushed out in general and the "two weeks" timeline, we fully expect the server mergers to finish on Thursday, 10th November, at 03:00 server time.

Below, you can find a table of all the servers affected by this first Diablo Immortal merger and their respective regions.

As you can see, all the Diablo Immortal servers merging are in groups of four. Once this merger takes place, players will still log into the same server. However, they will now be able to play the game with others from three additional servers in the same group.

This might not be the last server merger for Diablo Immortal, as Blizzard explains: "This is only our first round of server merges. We will continue to monitor player populations on all servers and merge additional servers as needed. At this time, we cannot say when additional server merges will occur, but we will keep players updated"
