The Vault of Glass was the first ever Raid in Destiny, introducing an entire genre to the idea of Raiding. It makes sense, then, that it would be the first reprised Raid in Destiny 2. Originally dropped as a part of 2021's Season of the Splicer, the Vault of Glass Raid reintroduced players to the Exotic Fusion Rifle Vex Mythoclast, and like the Raid encounters themselves, it features some slight tweaks to how it works making it a worthy weapon to add to any arsenal.
While the Vault of Glass weapons are not craftable (yet), players can still grind out each encounter as many times as they want while chasing roles when it becomes the weekly featured Raid rotation. We've broken down each encounter and what you can get from them so that you can plan your next raid session with ease.

Destiny 2 Vault Of Glass Raid Overview
The Vault of Glass Raid offers a decent selection of weapons and armor that are made to make you feel like a Vex-god killing machine. The real stand-outs of VOG are the Fatebringer Hand Cannon and the Corrective Measure Heavy Machine Gun.
Vault of Glass also offers an Exotic Weapon like Last Wish or Deep Stone Crypt in the Vex Mythoclast. This Exotic Fusion Rifle fires like a 390 RPM Auto Rifle, rather than a traditional Fusion Rifle. After you've gotten a few kills and built up stacks of Overcharge, you're able to convert the weapon into a Linear Fusion Rifle, making this Raid Exotic one of the more lethal right out of the box. Running VOG a few times each week when it comes into the rotation to get your hands on it is certainly worth the time investment.

Conflux Encounter Loot
The first real encounter with the ability to obtain new loot, if you don't have things unlocked already, is the Conflux encounter. Even though there's a chest at the opening of the Raid after building the Spire, only previously acquired loot and VOG Raid Mods will drop from it. This is your first chance at weapons like Corrective Measure, which is great for a Void Warlock Build!

Bonus: Vault of Glass Raid Secret Hidden Chests
As is standard in nearly all Destiny Raids, there are a few chests hidden throughout the Vault of Glass for players to find These chests contain VOG Raid Mods to be used in the VOG armor as well as drops you've previously acquired. The first is right at the entrance to the Vault after building the Spire. The second is on the path through the short jumping section to get to the Orcales/Templar arena. The third is found by locating and shooting the three vex cubes in the Gorgon Maze. The fourth is found above the walkway and off to the left before you walk into Atheon's arena after the main jumping puzzle.
