Dave The Diver: Where To Find Salt

In Dave the Diver, players will be exploring the depths of the oceans for all kinds of interesting ingredients and mysteries. During the day, Dave will go about his adventures, capturing fish to submit to the restaurant. At night, the restaurant comes alive and Dave must trade in his diving suit for some metaphorical waiter's attire and serve guests extravagant meals made from his haul. 

There are plenty of different recipes and creations for Dave to find and make. Some meals only require fresh fish in order for them to be turned into something delicious, whereas others can be enhanced through various extra ingredients. Salt is one such ingredient that Dave can find on his adventures, but locating a consistent supply is easier said than done. Here's how to find Salt in Dave the Diver.

Dave The Diver: Where To Find Salt, Locations

Salt is an interesting ingredient in Dave the Diver. Despite being present in the very ocean that Dave finds himself swimming in, what players will be looking for is an actual bottle of Salt. You won't find it floating anywhere in the depths, rather, players will need to keep their eyes out for any red crock pots sat on the seabeds. 

The red crock pots aren't guaranteed to contain Salt everytime. Players might find Soy Sauce or something else useful hidden within. But opening each one you come across is imperative for expanding your supply of Salt. Sooner or later, you'll end up with a decent amount to use across your recipes. 

You'll need Salt pretty early on when Bancho decides to make an extravagant recipe using Jellyfish, for which he'll need Sea Grapes, White Spotted Jellyfish, and Salt. It's up to Dave to collect all three ingredients. The particular Jellyfish that Bancho is after can be found in the Limestone Caves, usually close to where the water currents rush. Both Sea Grapes and Salt can also be found in these caves, making it a great place to source everything you'll need.
