Dave the Diver sees players take on the role of Dave, a helpful diver tasked with supplying the nearby sushi restaurant with a fresh batch of fish. During the day, Dave takes to the ocean to find and capture all manner of creatures and items. At night, the restaurant comes alive and Dave must now get busy laying out the night's menu and serving customers.
During Dave's daily adventures in the depths he'll occasionally come across valuable items such as Pearls or Gold Bars, both of which seem to only be used for selling. The problem is that early on in the game, there's no apparent way to sell them. So, how do players sell their valuable items in Dave the Diver?
Dave The Diver: How To Sell Pearls, Gold Bars
Valuable items, such as Pearls and Gold Bars, tend to prompt Dave to sell them at the Cobra Shop. If you're still quite early on in Dave the Diver, then this certain establishment won't be unlocked from the beginning.
The good news is, all you'll need to do is progress through the main story to unlock the ability to sell items. After a few days have passed, and you've completed a few tasks for Dr Bacon, Dave will be asked to find parts needed for the Drone. With the parts found and handed to Cobra, he'll spend a day building it. The following day, Dr Bacon will return and Cobra will have also finished the Drone. He’ll then announce that the Cobra Shop is now open.
Players can sell any unwanted and valuable items for varied amounts of gold, as well as buy auxiliary items which can be used for one day only. These auxiliary items include some of what you might have stumbled upon in the ocean, such as speed boost items. Purchasing one from the Cobra Shop means Dave will have them available from the start of his dive, rather than having to hunt for them in the yellow crates. The Cobra Shop is only open in the morning and afternoon.
