How To Get The Shotgun In Crow Country

There are three different weapons you can get your hands on in Crow Country (in addition to the Grenade), and one of them is the Shotgun. The Shotgun is perfect for close-range combat and can deal a lot of damage to any enemies you may come across as you explore the various areas of Crow Country, but you'll have to solve a puzzle to get it. Here's how to get the Shotgun in Crow Country.

How To Get Shotgun In Crow Country

To get the Shotgun, you'll first have to unlock the Ocean Kingdom area. You'll unlock this area after completing the Fairytale Town and Haunted Hilltop areas. Once you're here, head down into the Submarine. Here, you'll find a save point as well as a broken shooting game, which is your ticket to getting the Shotgun.

Since the plastic guns are broken, you won't be able to play the game as it's intended - but no worries, since we've got a real gun on hand! You can use your gun to shoot the different animals as they float by, gaining up points. A piece of paper next to the shooting game outlines exactly how many points each sea creature is worth.

Another staff memo (#18) lets you know the quickest way to get the Shotgun from the shooting game. To get it, you'll need a score of 21 in the shooting game. To get this score, as the staff memo says, you can shoot the Shark four times and then the Dolphin once. (Sharks are worth +6 points, while Dolphins are worth -3.)

There may be other ways to achieve the total of 21, but this is the easiest way to do it, as the staff memo claims.

If you make a mistake while trying out the shooting game, you can either leave the Submarine and return immediately, or press the red button to reset it and try again. Remember that your goal is 21.

Once you've achieved a score of 21, the case holding the Shotgun will immediately unlock, giving you your reward! Now load it up with some Shotgun Ammo and enjoy your new prize. You earned it.
