Day 2 of the BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2024 delivered some intense Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) esports matches in Group A and Group B, as two teams made it to the finale of their group, and two were eliminated. Team Vitality fans were in for a treat that was too hot to handle for Astralis, despite the best efforts of Nicolai "dev1ce" Reedtz.

For Team Vitality, it wasn't all sunshine and AWP kills. Instead, the legendary Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut was in a bit of a slump, finishing at the bottom of the scoreboard when the match finished up, despite Team Vitality winning 13-7 on Nuke and 13-11 on Dust2.
It was 20-year-old Israeli entry fragger Shahar "flameZ" Shushan, who was the real difference maker for Team Vitality, shutting down Astralis with some high-impact clutches and topping the scoreboard.

Below, you can watch another 2v1 flameZ clutch, this time on the B site of Dust2, to send Astralis to the lower bracket, denying the possible comeback and an overtime situation.
In the lower bracket, we saw Team Falcons make rather quick work of GamerLegion, knocking them out of the event with a clean 2-0.

Team Falcons will now face Astralis in the Lower Bracket Final, and the winner will be Team Vitality's last obstacle for that coveted spot in the BLAST Premier Fall Final 2024 event.
