In Group B of the BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2024, Vitality stayed in the upper bracket after narrowly beating GamerLegion and then sweeping Astralis under the rug. Astralis, however, made a comeback, reverse-sweeping Team Falcons to set up a rematch against Team Vitality.

Team Vitality took on Astralis in a best-of-three Group B final, with a coveted spot at the BLAST Premier Fall Final 2024 on the line.
On Astralis' map pick of Vertigo, things didn't exactly go as planned for Team Vitality, as the side had a slow but competitive start, with IGL Dan "apEX" Madesclaire pulling off the highlight of the map with four kills on the B site defense.
Astralis stayed strong and kept pushing Vitality to their limits, finishing off Vertigo 13-10.
On Team Vitality's map pick of Mirage, we had another close game, with Vitality slowly pulling ahead of Astralis to eventually win 13-10, setting up a third and deciding map. My personal favorite play was when Martin "stavn" Lund kept Astralis in contention for Mirage with a 2v1 clutch in a post-plant situation, killing both apEX and the great ZywOo to win the 22nd round.
On the third and deciding map, Nuke, Astralis pulled ahead a bit in the first half, winning it 7-5, despite an absolutely insane clutch by Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut. Check out the clutch in the 7th round on Nuke below, where ZywOo takes out four Astralis players and plants the bomb, winning the round for Team Vitality in style.
Even British rifler William "mezii" Merriman chipped in with a strong 3v1 clutch to keep Vitality in it.
On the back of several fantastic players, Team Vitality stabilized on Nuke's CT side, winning 8 rounds in a row to beat Astralis 13-7 and completing the reverse sweep with a match score of 2-1.

Astralis will now face NIP in the Play-In stage best-of-three match for a chance at a spot in the BLAST Premier Fall Final 2024. The loser of the Astralis vs. NIP match will have to fight for survival in the Fall Showdown, so there's a lot at stake for the two teams competing.
