Skyesports Championship 2024, one of the biggest CS2 events in India, has kicked off from July 23, featuring 12 invited teams from across multiple regions. The tournament boasts a massive prize pool of $300,000 and will run till July 28 at the Taj Lands End in Mumbai. Here is everything you need to know about it.

Format & Schedule

Teams will have to go through two stages during Skyesports Championship 2024 i.e. the Group Stage and the Playoffs. 

Group Stage

This stage will run from July 23 to 25 and will follow single round-robin format. The 12 participating teams will be divided into two groups equally and top 3 teams from each group will proceed to Playoffs. The first seed from each group will get a direct bye to Semi-Finals.

July 23 — Tuesday

July 25 — Friday

Playoffs

During the playoffs, the remaining six teams will compete in a single elimination bracket on July 27 and 28. Every match in playoffs will be best-of-three and the winner will take home $120000, along with the trophy.

July 27 — Saturday (Quarter-finals)

  • Group A 2nd vs 3rd Seed
  • Group B 2nd vs 3rd Seed

July 28 — Sunday (Semi-finals & Grand Final)

  • Group A 1st Seed vs Winner of Group A Quarter-final
  • Group B 1st Seed vs Winner of Group B Quarter-final
  • Winner of Group A Semi-final vs Winner of Group B Semi-final

Prize Pool Distribution

The $300,000 prize pool will be distributed among the teams as follows:

  • 1st — $120,000
  • 2nd — $70,000
  • 3rd — $35,000
  • 4th — $35,000
  • 5th — $15,000
  • 6th — $15,000
