COD Mobile SMG tier list - Every submachine gun ranked from worst to best for Season 11

Call of Duty: Mobile players can get the holiday spirit following the release of the latest gameplay patch, COD Mobile Season 11, entitled "Final Snow." The seasonal patch is feature-rich, boasting a brand-new festive map called "Icebreaker," new game modes, a themed event and, of course, a shiny new battle pass.

Similarly to previous seasonal patches, there are also several weapon balance changes. Fortunately, developers Activision only buffed four weapons, including the Kilo Bolt-Action, H20405, R9-0 and CBR4, the latter belonging to the submachine gun (SMG) class. There are also two new weapons, namely the PKM LMG and D13 Sector.

Despite the latest patch only bringing significant changes to the CBR4, there has been a drastic change to the meta, which spurred a shakeup of our SMG weapon tier list. So, without further ado, here is our list of the best SMGs to use in COD Mobile Season 11, ranked from best to worst.

COD Mobile Season 11 SMG tier list

In case you didn't know, SMGs are lightweight automatic weapons with relatively low-energy pistol cartridges. They are typically used at short to medium ranges and have a high rate of fire.

Note: Our tier lists are not an exact science; however, we do strive to make our SMG list as accurate as humanly possible.

Description of the tiers

• S-Tier: Weapons in this tier are the absolute best SMGs in COD Mobile, which can quickly melt the faces off opponents.
• A-Tier: With a great loadout, these Submachine Guns could go toe-to-toe against the S-Tier.
• B-Tier: These SMGs are viable when matched with the perfect loadout that fits your playstyle.
• C-Tier: Guns in this SMG tier also requires you to use a perfect loadout but should be used circumstantially.
• D-Tier: The trash tier. You would be much better off using one of the other SMGs in this list.

SMG tier list

There are 16 SMGs in COD Mobile Season 11, including the CBR4, introduced in the previous season. The latest seasonal update only introduced balance changes to the CBR4; however, we have also reordered our SMG tier list based on the performance of each weapon in the meta.

S-tier SMGs:

• QQ9
• PP19 Bizon
• CBR4

The QQ9 is the strongest and most broken SMG in COD Mobile Season 11, and its fast TTK s unmatched in close quarters combat. While it does have a bit of recoil, it is a meta weapon in COD Mobile Season 11.

The newly-added CBR4 is a notable alternative to the QQ9 or PP19 Bizon, boasting a fast fire rate and solid damage. Thanks to a recent buff to its weapon handling, the CBR4 is also easier to control in the current meta and benefits from a reduced base get-hit flinch.

A-tier SMGs:

• RUS-79U
• Fennec
• MX9
• QXR

The RUS-79U, Fennec, MX9 and QXR are solid weapons to wield in COD Mobile Season 11 and worthwhile alternatives to the S-tier weapons. Unfortunately, the MX9 was nerfed in the previous season; however, this has not influenced its popularity much in the meta.

B-tier SMGs:

• GKS
• AGR 556
• HG40

These weapons are viable but might be outshined by A-tier options like the RUS-79U or S-tier options like the PP19 Bizon or QQ9.

C-tier SMGs:

• Pharo
• Razorback
• Cordite

D-tier SMG:

• MSMC
• PDW-57
• Chicom

These guns have fallen out of favour this season. So while they might be worth trying out for fun, we recommend any other weapon on this tier list.
