The Grau has dominated Verdansk since its release in the original Season 2 back in July of last year, even after a series of nerfs around Season 4 and 5 the Assault Rifle is still one of the sickest primary weapons you can rock in Warzone.
In 2021 and after a reset of the Season counter, we are "back" into Season 2 and to mangle the ol' saying: there are three constants in Warzone - death, stim glitches, and the Grau.
That doesn't mean nothing has changed, Verdansk is getting some new additions in Season 2, there is also the two new weapons, all with the ability to shift and prod the meta.
So with that in mind, we are going back through the three main classes of weapons; Assault Rifles, Snipers/Marksmen, and SMGs -ranking them from best to worst and taking each weapon and looking for the best loadout for each for Season 2.
Here is the Grau.
Best Grau 5.56 loadout for Warzone Season 2
(Picture: NICKMERCS)
- Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
- Barrel: Tempus 26.4” Archangel
- Optic: VLK 3.0x Optic
- Underbarrel: Ranger Foregrip
- Ammunition: 60 Round Mag
This Grau 5.56 loadout is one of NICKMERCS' "no recoil" loadouts, perfect for racking up huge kill counts.
The key to this setup is the Monolithic Suppressor and Tempus Archangel Barrel reduce the horizontal sway with the Ranger Foregrip helping with any vertical recoil.
Some mobility is lost with these but it is a small price to pay for having such a stable weapon.
The VLK 3.0x Optic obviously makes it easier to engage enemies at range and the 60 Round Mag keeps you in the action that bit longer.
The Grau may not be absolutely S-Tier in Warzone Season 2 but it is definitely up there. If you want to know what guns do make it in the S-Tier check out our Warzone Season 2 Assault Rifle tier list.
