Insight is a skill that comes up fairly often during conversations in Baldur's Gate 3, and can change the course of entire quests if you're smart. However, you need to find a way to buff up your Insight stat if you've not specced into a class that specifically uses Wisdom in combat, and that's where we come in.

Can You Increase Your Insight Skill In Baldur's Gate 3?
Insight is a skill directly related to your Wisdom, and scales with your Wisdom. Wizards and Rangers are already extremely wise, but in other classes, you do need to buff.
Insight Increasing Feats
You can increase your Wisdom, and thus your Insight through various different feats. You get the option to take a new Feat at Level 4, Level 8, and Level 12. The following feats are great for pushing up your Insight:
- Ability Improvements: Increase one Ability by 2, or two Abilities by 1
- Resilient: Wisdom: Increase an Ability by 1 and gain Proficiency in that Ability's Saving Throws
- Skilled: You gain Proficiency in 3 Skills of your choice
Insight Increasing Armor
There's only one piece of Armor that helps with Insight Checks, sadly, but one is still better than none!
- Cloth Of Authority: You can't be Frightened, and cannot be afflicted with other emotion-altering conditions. You have advantage on Intimidation Checks and Insight Checks.
Permanent Insight Bonuses
Finally, there are a few different ways that you can permanently increase your Wisdom score by completing various different side quests and defeating various different bosses.
- Auntie Ethel's Hair: Gain +1 to an Ability Score of your choice
- Forbidden Knowledge: +1 to Wisdom Checks and Saving Throws
- Mirror Of Loss: Gain +2 to an Ability Score of your choice
