Baldur's Gate 3 is a massive RPG full of mystical caves, enchanted forests, and sprawling cities waiting for you to explore. However, unlike games like Diablo 4 or even Dragon Age Inquisition, there aren't any mounts, which means you will spend plenty of time walking from place to place with your friendly and no-so-friendly companions.
It's not necessarily bad, but simply walking in Baldur's Gate 3 becomes tedious when you quickly want to go from one point of the map to another for the tenth time in a day. Thankfully, there's a fast-travel mechanic though it isn't as simple as clicking its location on the map. As such, here's our guide, which explains how to fast travel in Baldur's Gate 3.
How To Unlock Fast Travel in Baldur's Gate 3
You can fast travel in Baldur's Gate 3 by activating these Ancient Sigil Circles all over the map. At least one can be found at every major POI in the game. Once you have discovered an Ancient Sigil Circle, you can fast travel to that location anytime by going into the map and selecting that location. You can directly click on the location's icon on the map or select it from the list of available waypoints.
Thankfully, fast travel won't cost you any resources and is completely free, unlike many other RPGs and MMOs. However, do note that you won't be able to use it in combat or inside dungeons where one of the party members feels threatened.
And that's it! That concludes our guide on how to fast travel in Baldur's Gate 3.
