Baldur's Gate 3 allows you to recruit a lot of people to your crew, ranging from a Barbarian with an explosive heart to a Cleric with faith issues, but not all of them agree with every single choice that you make. There are certain decisions that you make that will turn people against you regardless, but how do you actually check what your companions think of you? We take a look and find out.
How To Check Companion Approval In Baldur's Gate 3
To check your companion approval, open the character sheet. Select the character that you want to check the approval of and scroll down, and you'll see a tab that says 'Approval'. This changes based on your in-game actions and can range from complete disapproval to complete approval if your actions measure up to their alignment.
It's worth noting that you likely can't please everybody. Go with your gut and what you think your character would do, and don't try and play the game of constantly trying to get everybody on your side. Somebody like Astarion likely isn't going to think as highly of your actions if you're constantly doing something that would fall into the lawful good camp, but if that's how you feel your character would act, do it.
