ARK Survival Ascended Shastasaurus Release Date

Studio Wildcard has announced the new release date of The Center map in ARK Survival Ascended after a delay. It will be double the size of The Island map and will give you a Tolkien-fantasy feel. Along with it, it will also bring multiple new creatures for you to battle and tame, along with the community vote winner, Shastasaurus.

ARK Survival Ascended Shastasaurus Release Date

Shastasaurus will release on June 3, as per the official announcement by Studio Wildcard along with The Center. Since The Center expansion will be free to play if you have the base ARK Survival Ascended game, you will be able to get Shastasaurus for free.

Everything We Know About Shastasaurus

Shastasaurus is a massive marine reptile that lived in the Middle-Late Triassic period. It is a carnivore that feeds on small fish and uses echolocation to detect threats. Shastasaurus is a passive and social creature, living in groups with other Shastasaurus or Ichthyosaurus and can be tamed by providing companionship from these creatures, but it will become aggressive if they are harmed.

You will be able to take the help of a Shastasaurus in many ways, such as carrying heavy loads, diving deep into the ocean, fighting underwater enemies, harvesting resources, and trapping prey. It has a special saddle that can transform into a submarine or a whaling ship, depending on the situation and can also use its sonic blast, tail, suction, and sonar to attack.
