Where To Find Elves In Dragon's Dogma 2

As you adventure through the world of Dragon's Dogma 2, you might stumble across some pawns proudly proclaiming that they understand elvish. It's a useful trait, if one that's only beneficial in certain areas. If you've yet to find any elvish for them to read, you might be wondering exactly where the elves are.

The elves reside off the beaten track somewhat, so you'll need to do some adventuring to locate them.

Where Are The Elves In Dragon's Dogma 2?

The elves can be found to the north of the map, in an area called the Malachite Forest. This area is directly west of Melve, and can be easy to miss if you push through with the main quest.

This forest can be a bit confusing to navigate, but a helpful path through will eventually lead you to the elves' main settlement: Sacred Arbor. As you make your way there, you might come across some elves hunting in the forest. They'll be speaking a different language, and you'll only be able to understand them if a pawn in your party knows elvish. 

In Sacred Arbor, you'll find that everything is in elvish, including the prompts when speaking to its inhabitants and the item descriptions in shops. This even applies to items you've previously bought or encountered. 

There is a Rift Stone near to the entrance of Sacred Arbor, so if you haven't got a pawn with the knack for elvish we recommend hiring one for the time being.
