Created in 2010, GINX Esports TV is the largest TV network dedicated to esports. Available in 55+ million homes, across more than 50 territories in 10 languages, GINX Esports TV aims to extend the reach of esports into mainstream sports audiences. We are now recruiting new members to join our team of passionate esports fans.

Your Mission

GINX Esports TV has open an internship programme for esports writers. As part of the team, you will work to bring esports news to our customers across all platforms.

Primary responsibilities include research, fact-checking and writing esports content for the website ginx.tv. You will find and secure the most interesting and relevant stories or voices from the gaming and esports industry across the world. Using our editing platform, you will have the opportunity to create engaging social and opinionated esports content which will be distributed on the internet platform and in our TV Shows.

Indeed, you will also work with the TV production team to ensure GINX Esports TV delivers the best esports TV experience possible, based on accurate, detailed facts. To do so you will be expected to attend planning and creative meetings, source images and footage.

This esports news internship is right in the heart of GINX’ studios in our HQ offices, in London. The team operates as a central hub, sourcing and producing content then made available to our partners all over the world.

Your profile

We are seeking a dedicated, hard working and talented candidate. Our internships run for 3 to 6 months depending on the candidate. During that period, our entire team will work with you to train you and share their experience. This work-place internship is suited for University or Post-Grad students looking for workplace experience within the gaming/journalism industry.

You must

  • Be fluent in English. Another language would be a plus
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrate acute attention to detail
  • Be curious, enthusiastic with an interest for both news and features content
  • Be organised and love to be part of a team
  • Love esports!

Qualification

  • Degree classification of 2:1 or above.
  • High computer literacy including Office suite with the ability to learn new tools quickly
  • Ability to deal with 30, sometimes crazy, often fun, colleagues in a very international environment!
