Weapons play a significant role in Dying Light 2 as they help you fight the enemies; however, the catch is if you use them continuously, they will be destroyed. This will cause trouble to many players as they have put a lot of time into modding the weapon and making it powerful.
So, you will have to keep on repairing them to avoid losing your precious weapons. There is not a direct way to repair weapons in Dying Light 2, but you can still do it by following the method below.
Dying Light 2: How to repair weapons
To repair weapons in Dying Light 2, you need to have access to its mods, blueprints and material to craft them. You can buy these blueprints for various mods from the local Craftmaster shops in the game.
Then you need to go to the weapon that you want to repair and modify the weapon by going to the modding screen to mod the weapon again to increase its durability.
While it will repair your weapon slightly, this is the only way to keep your weapon secure and also, the mod will stay on your weapon permanently, so think thoroughly before adding one to the weapon.
However, if you are not able to buy mods and blueprints, or you don't have enough materials to craft them, you will have to keep the weapon aside until you collect them or it will get destroyed. Also, you cannot attach mods to all the weapons in Dying Light 2.
Thus, be sure to practice different weapons in the game and get comfortable with them, so that you don't face any difficulty if you lose a weapon.
The option to repair weapons was available in Dying Light even though we could do it a limited number of times, and it is quite disappointing to not get this feature in Dying Light 2.
