Ahead of the Nintendo financial report, UBS securities released a statement that seems to speak on the future of the company, and when we can expect to see a successor to the Nintendo Switch; what many might coin the Nintendo Switch Pro.
“We expect Nintendo will not release the next-generation hardware over the next 12 months. Nintendo’s valuation is very likely to shrink until the launch of the new hardware.”
Despite this, several reliable leakers over the last six months have stated that they're expecting a hardware reveal at some point this year. Some reputable sources have even gone as far as to suggest that The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is the last hurrah for the console, similar to how The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was the first display of what exactly the Nintendo Switch is capable of.
"You are our final hope.”

The next big release for the Nintendo Switch is the aforementioned The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, which is due to release on Friday 12th May and is quite possibly one of the most hyped games of the entire year, with it being the sequel to one of the most beloved games of the last decade, and a potential sales juggernaut to boot.
