Following up on the 2011 classic, No More Room in Hell 2 looks to up the zombie-slaying survival game in every way. This is no more evident than in its gruesome and chaotic new trailer revealed at Gamescom 2024 which showcases brutal co-op gameplay.
While No More Room in Hell 2 might just look like yet another zombie game, this trailer shows off what makes the series as popular as it is. Though brief, we get a glimpse of some gruesome zombie-slaying gameplay, showcasing various melee and ranged weapons that tear apart the undead.
Not only that, but we also see how the eight-player co-op plays a key role in the decade-in-the-making sequel. With permadeath an ever-looming threat, you have to stay near your allies to survive the darkness of zombie-infested zones. When you’re scavenging supplies and trying to complete your mission, it’s not going to be an easy ride. Do you risk your character’s life to save a friend, or press on to save yourself? After all, you’ve got precious loot that could help you on your next mission.
Unfortunately, while we are treated to our first proper look at the much-improved gameplay of No More Room in Hell 2, we’re still yet to get a firm release date beyond October 2024 as the trailer ends with a simple “coming soon.” Nevertheless, you can wishlist it on Steam and Epic Games.
