Killing Floor 3, Tripwire Interactive's next installment in the legendary co-op action/horror FPS series, just got a new gameplay trailer following an exclusive reveal at The Game Awards. But that's not all - Tripwire also announced that the upcoming co-op action/horror shooter will feature full cross play functionality on all platforms from launch.
Killing Floor 3 will feature 6-player co-op, or players can jump into a tense single-player mode for a solo experience. Players will face the most lethal Zeds yet in this new title, with each enemy boasting not only new methods of attack, but also smarter AI. Tripwire says the game's baddies are "faster, deadlier, and more strategic than ever."
But don't worry, players also have tons of new ways to fight back, from flamethrowers to shotguns to katanas. Plus, you'll be able to customize them with mods, gadgets, and skills to suit your unique playstyle. And with more realistic carnage, the battles are all the more authentic. You'll also be able to explore new, treacherous hot zones where you can activate devastating traps including turrets, fans, and more.
Killing Floor 3 is set in 2091, 70 years after the events of Killing Floor 2. Megacorp Horzine has created an obedient horde of bio-engineered monsters called Zeds, and the rebellion fighting against them is known as Nightfall. Killing Floor 3 puts players in the shoes of a Nightfall specialist who defeats the Zeds while unlocking new skills and protecting the world.
Killing Floor 3 is set for a March 2025 release date for PC via Steam and Epic Games, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. The game is available to wishlist on all platforms.
