Sorry We're Closed features a number of different paths for Michelle to take throughout her final days as a cursed being. She'll eventually encounter an angel called Chamuel, who is agonizing over his relationship with a demon and whether or not he should pursue it.

On Day 3 of Michelle's plight, she'll encounter Chamuel outside of the church. If Michelle had been following Chamuel's storyline thus far, speaking with him here will unfold a conversation that results in them asking Michelle: "Could you love a demon?"

Should You Answer 'Yes' or 'No' to 'Could You Love a Demon?' in Sorry We're Closed?

There isn't a wrong way to answer Chamuel's question, technically. It depends on the outcome you're aiming for. Interacting with Chamuel here is a key path to two of the game's endings: Chamuel's Ending and Lucy's Ending.

Should you take up Lucy's offer of combating The Duchess, she requires Michelle to gather three important items tied to certain actions in the game. These are:

  • Repairing Darrel and Oakley’s relationship
  • Separating Chamuel from his demon lover
  • Giving Robyn the Duchess’ Bedroom Key in the Crypt

The second requirement is what this conversation with Chamuel will pertains to. You'll want to select "No," when given the option in order to achieve Lucy's Ending. If instead you're looking to reach Chamuel's Ending, you'll want to select "Yes" in order to save his relationship with the demon.

Essentially, choosing 'Yes' puts you on the path for Chamuel's Ending. Choosing 'No' is a requirement for Lucy's Ending. Note that you'll also need to complete the other two requirements in order to reach Lucy's Ending.
