Survival Horror Among Ashes Launches Today

Dojo System and Ratcliff Games' first-person survival horror game, Among Ashes, is now available on both PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam. Developers dare players to "ready to live a terrifying experience that blurs the boundaries between reality and fiction, taking you to the darkest corners of your imagination."

Among Ashes is an homage to old survival horror games, but also promises a unique, meta approach to horror that makes it its own.

"It features an innovative, meta-framing device in which players will experience a full retro-inspired first-person survival horror game within another first-person horror game," Rat Cliff Games previously explained.

"[That's] in addition to a host of unique presentational touches, narrative surprises, mechanics and puzzles that transport players back to the turn of the millennium - providing a terrifying dose of nostalgia in the process."

Among Ashes supports 10 different languages at launch - including English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, and more - and is available for $14.99 / £12.79 / €14.79 on PC and Steam. Steam players can grab a 10% launch discount.
