V Rising is a new survival game boasting countless hours of content for players to enjoy as they attempt to establish their vampire empire. In the game, players are tasked with crafting items, including the powerful Alchemy Table.
So, if you're curious about how to unlock the Alchemy table in V Rising and what you can use it for, then we have you covered. This guide will walk you through the basics of making an Alchemy Table and provide tips on what you can start doing with it once you have unlocked it.
How to unlock the Alchemy Table in V Rising
Alchemy Tables allow players to craft various items in the game, ranging from potions to explosives. These can be useful in giving you more versatility in the game. For example, potions provide you with stat upgrades, and you can use explosives for mining ores and other resources in the game.
To unlock the Alchemy Table, players need to defeat Clive the Firestarter. You can use your Blood Altar to track him down, following the blood signs until you reach him.

To defeat Clive the Firestarter, we recommend using some decent Iron gear. Additionally, since he is a Level 30 boss, you'll want to stay on the move during the fight, using ranged attacks to take him down.
If you have unlocked the Crossbow, you can use its special attack to deal some pretty substantial damage.
Once defeated, the boss will drop recipes for the Alchemy Table, Sulphur, and the Minor Explosive Box. The Sulphur recipe is essential as it allows you to take raw Sulphur Ore gained when mining and craft it into Sulphur using a furnace.
Once you have Sulphur, you can now use it to craft the Alchemy Table. The items needed to craft it are as follows:
- 100x Blood Essence
- 16x Planks
- 12x Sulphur
The Blood Essence is obtained when killing humanoid enemies (enemies with blood, i.e., not Skeletons or Stone Golems), and the planks can be collected when putting lumber into a Sawmill.
From there, you are all set to put your Alchemy Table together, and you can start making Potions and Explosives with the recipe you received from Clive the Firestarter.
