All Bunker Locations In Sons of the Forest

Bunkers are an integral part of the exploration in Sons of the Forest as they not only contain some useful gear that will help you survive, but you're also going to have to find quite a few of them to push yourself to the end of the game's plot. Finding them however can be quite tedious, and since some of them are well hidden it becomes a chore when you reach the end game.

Luckily, we have you covered, as this guide will show you exactly how to find all the bunker locations in Sons of the Forest. We'll also give you a quick summary of what's inside each of them and why you should make finding them part of your journey on the island. 

All Bunker Locations in Sons of the Forest

There are currently seven known bunkers located throughout the map of Sons of the Forest. Most of these bunkers' entrances are hidden under the ground so you'll need a shovel to access them and a few weapons at your disposal to deal with the mutants infesting most of them, only then would we recommend you start hunting them down. 

Maintenance A Bunker Location

This bunker's entrance is hidden underground and requires a shovel to dig up. It will contain the maintenance keycard that's needed to push forward the main plot of the game, and access some useful areas in other bunkers. And will also contain a 3D printer if you need one, as well as a few useful items such as an axe and a bed to rest on.

Maintenance B Bunker Location

This bunker is located on one of the far sides of the map but has some worthwhile loot in the form of another 3D printer, a silencer for your pistol, and a bow if you don't have one already. 

Maintenance C Bunker Location

Maintenance bunker C is also on one of the far ends of the map on the east side, and only contains one key item you may be very interested in, the revolver. 

Food and Dining Bunker Location

As you make your way through this bunker, you'll end up in the abandoned mall where you'll find the VIP keycard that allows you to access the VIP room in the late-to-end game sections. Inside you'll find a crossbow, food, and the dress outfit for Virginia.

Guest Keycard Bunker Location

This one is quite self-explanatory as the bunker contains the Guest keycard inside, and the chainsaw, for those interested in getting more gory kills. 

Ruined Bunker Location

The Ruined Bunker is located in the island's southeastern corner, and it is here that you will obtain the Golden Mask and the Golden Armor required before entering the VIP Bunker to reach the end of the game. This bunker is deadly, so be warned as there are several mutants stuffed in here. Before you go in, make sure you have a weapon, such as a shotgun and a compound bow, and some healing goods.  

VIP Bunker Location

last but not least, the VIP bunker is in the northeastern part of the island near the coast, east of the Maintenance C Bunker. You need the VIP card to enter, and you can find a shotgun inside, along with a set of pajamas for getting comfy. Make sure that you save and have visited everywhere you wanted before going inside since this is the point of no return before the credits roll.
