Sky COTL Tournament of Triumph Guide: Currency, Rewards, Start Date & More

Sky: Children of the Light's Tournament of Triumph is coming soon, and it'll have Sky Kids "running, leaping, soaring - and even scampering" through the vast world of Sky. During this all-new event, players will be able to visit a special version of the Coliseum, where they'll join and compete in two different team games and even various rewards over the course over three weeks.

"Tournament of Triumph is our way of exploring how we can introduce healthy competition in team events while staying true to Sky’s positive, cooperative nature," Sky's team wrote on the game's official blog. 

Upon visiting the Coliseum, players will be assigned to one of two teams and given a coloured cape to show which side they're on.

Tournament of Triumph Event Currency

As with all Sky COTL events, Tournament of Triumph has its own event currency and dedicated rewards for players to earn. Players can earn a total of 57 event currency across the whole event, split up between the days:

• 2 in the event area each day

• 25 in the first ten days of the event

• 25 in the second ten days of the event

• 5 event currency in the event area on the last day

Players get one event currency each time they finish a Tournament game, with the ability to repeat games until they've reached the event currency limit for that time period.

Tournament of Triumph Rewards

So far, it seems there are quite a few new cosmetics coming to the Tournament event: Tournament Tunic Pants, multiple hairs, and a hair accessory. and a Torch. The Torch allows players to light Candles even while moving.

To unlock the Tournament of Triumph event items, players can talk to the Crab of Triumph in the Coliseum or buy them directly from the main menu. You can also grab some freebie spells, as with most other Sky events; you can get your trial spells from the event area, Event Shop (in Aviary Village), or at your Home.

In addition to the trial spells and purchasable ones, players will also get a free Trophy to commemorate the event, according to YouTuber Noob Mode who has tested out the Tournament of Triumph beta. You'll be able to use this new Trophy to decorate your Nest.

Tournament of Triumph Start & End Dates

The Tournament of Triumph kicks off at midnight on 29 July and ends at 11:59 PM on 18 August. The final day will include a special closing ceremony celebrating and revealing the winning team. To participate, you'll need to have access to the Isle of Dawn area - then, you can join in on all the festivities taking place!
