There are quite a few ways to earn light in Sky: Children of the Light outside of Candle Runs, and one of them is Grandma's Dinner Table. To get this extra Light, though, you'll need to know when and where to find Grandma, since the event only lasts for a few minutes each time it activates. Here's the scoop on Grandma's locationand event times in Sky: COTL.
Sky COTL: Grandma Location
Grandma is found at the Ancestor's Table of Belonging in the Elevated Clearing of Hidden Forest. Once you enter the Elevated Clearing area, look out for a large tree hollow with a table set up.
Grandma's Dinner Table is a great place for players to stock up on light, so it's a good idea to familiarize yourself with this location.
Sky COTL: Grandma Times
Grandma activates every two hours, lasting for 15 minutes. The event starts each day at 00:30 PST/PDT. Then, grandma waits 5 minutes before serving Light for 10 minutes. Players can then burn 6 white balls, worth 9 Pieces of Light each, per minute.
To determine when the next Grandma event starts, you can check out the Sky Clock. The Sky Clock also outlines times for other important Sky events, like the Polluted Geyser, Dreams Skater, and seasonal activities.
You'll be able to get up to 540 Pieces of Light from a single Grandma event, up to a shared total of 1,000. Once you reach this limit, you won't be able to get any more light from Grandma's table.
Once you've earned all the Light you can from Grandma, it's a good idea to check out other events that help you earn Light, such as the Polluted Geyser and Sunset Sanctuary Turtle.
