Need help to unlock the Siphon Wretch in TYPE SOUL? You're in luck! In addition to Razor's Edge, the developers released an extra weapon to revive the Medic skill tree. Beyond its guard-break crit, it also has a defensive barrier to protect you and nearby party members from attacks.
So, how do you get it? That's where I come in. This guide will explain how to get the Siphon Wretch universal medic weapon in TYPE SOUL. I'll also chat briefly about its move set so you have a solid understanding of how best to use it in PvP combat. Sound good? Cool—let's get started.
How To Unlock Siphon Wretch In TYPE SOUL
You can get the Siphon Wretch in TYPE SOUL by farming in clan wars or afkworld. You do not have to defeat any specific raid boss. However, you will need to be a Quincy and have at least 60 Medic. For those who don't know, this is a character class that specializes in healing and supportive abilities.
Beyond this, the Siphon Wretch universal weapon is a Mythic rarity, which means the drop chance is less than 1%. This also means you'll probably spend a lot of time grinding for it. The weapon has a long-range crit (7s CD) that, when used, grants a powerful barrier to protect you and your party members.
While the barrier will only absorb 75% damage for two hits, the initial hit does guard-break and will apply the shield even if the enemy parries your attack. Just note that the barrier is applied in an AoE around the Siphon Wretch holder— and not where the crit hits. Want to know more? Watch this video:
Besides grinding it out in clan wars or AFK World, just remember you can always trade the Siphon Wretch weapon in TYPE SOUL. However, the catch is that it might not be worth it—players are known to overcharge for rare weapons. It's a dog-eat-dog world out there!
And that's pretty much it. There's not much more you have to know about how to get Siphon Wretch in TYPE SOUL. But why stop there? Check out my guide on unlocking The Seventh's Thunder or Zweis weapons in the game, too. Or maybe learn how to do the Hell Quest progression.
