How To Get Royal Moon Eggs in Adopt Me

They've found life on the moon! At least, in Roblox Adopt Me they did. There are eight new species for players to discover thanks to the Moon Egg and Royal Moon Egg, but you probably want to know how to get them.

Let's take a seat, Adopt Me, enjoyers, as we'll explain how you can get the Royal Moon Egg when it becomes available. 

Unlocking A Free Royal Moon Egg | Adopt Me

So, we are going to keep this straightforward. You can get a free Royal Moon Egg starting on 4 February 2025, and you can hatch it starting 7 February 2025. The first thing you will want to do is get to the moon (read our dedicated guide).

From here, you must collect five (5) Special Stars. One Special Star is hidden in each map for players to find, with one situated on the moon. You can find a total of five Special Stars each day if you really work for it. You can also find additional Shooting Stars for the Lunar New Year 2025 event on the moon. We suggest using a flying pet!

You'll also find the incubation pod on the moon to hatch the Royal Moon Egg. For those who want something a bit less difficult, there's also the standard Moon Egg, which you can purchase from the Gumball Machine in the Nursery starting on 7 February 2025.

Some lore text surrounding both eggs makes it sound like a bit of an experiment, which is nice:

A.D.O.P.T. is carrying out ongoing tests on the Gumball Machine before migration, inspecting the living conditions in the Adoption Island Nursery, and evaluating the Needs of each pet, so they can be taken care of to the highest possible standard.

It is important to note that both the Moon Egg and the Royal Moon Egg will only become catchable on 7 February 2025. At the time of writing, it is unclear what pets are inside these eggs. The Moon Egg and Royal Moon Egg are both tradeable.
