Want to know how to get Nightshade in Fruit Seas (formerly Demon Piece)? You're not alone! Four new weapons were added in Update 1, including Metal Bat, Behemoth Cleaver, Seirie, and the brand-new legendary rarity Nightshade, the latter of which deals huge damage!
The blade's description reads: "Darkness personified, this weapon channels dark, dangerous power through its prongs, perfect for keeping prisoners back. In this guide, I'll explain exactly where to find Nightshade in Fruit Seas so you can embrace its dark powers.
How To Unlock Nightshade Weapon In Fruit Seas
You can get Nightshade by beating the Chief Warden boss, located at the Indomitable Fortress (requires Level 515+) in Fruit Seas. This enemy is not for the faint-hearted and deals a ton of damage. What's more, he has 32,000 HP, making him quite tanky and difficult to kill.
After you defeat the Chief Warden, he has a VERY SMALL chance (i.e., 1%) to drop the Nightshade weapon in Fruit Seas. Other rewards include the Death Cap weapon (2% chance) and Indomitable Prison Key (3% chance). Basically, it means you have to fight this boss a few times before you can unlock Nightshade.
Did you know? The Chief Warden in Fruit Seas is inspired by Magellan of Impel Down, the notorious underwater prison in the One Piece anime and manga series. Magellan was in charge of the prison's security but he was replaced by Hannyabal, after failing to prevent a mass breakout, led by Monkey D. Luffy.
All Nightshade Moves In Fruit Seas
Now that you've got Nightshade in Fruit Seas, you're probably wondering: What is the Nightshade moveset? Well, as it turns out, the sword has two powerful moves you can use in PvE or PvP scenarios. Here's a quick rundown of each of them:
- Nightmare Lure (X - Mastery 105): This move triggers a barrage of green attacks that deal significant damage, pulling and stunning any enemies caught inside the area of effect.
- Etherial Skewer (Z - Mastery 215): This skill causes you to jolt forward in the direction of your cursor, traveling in a straight line and skewering any enemies in your path. You unleash a bash at the end of the skewer, knocking the enemy back and dealing damage.
If you want to supercharge the blade, remember to activate your Ken Haki and Buso Haki in Fruit Seas. Doing this will also give the blade a cool aura!
