Fisch Tempest Rod: How To Unlock

Want to unlock the Tempest Rod in Fisch? You're in the right place! This incredible fishing rod, introduced with the Atlantis Update, is highly sought after—but why am I not surprised? It's got great stats that are perfect for turbulent waters. So, how do you get it?

Well, as it turns out you'll need to complete the Sunken Trial in Atlantis. But don’t worry! This guide will take you through all the steps to unlock the Tempest Rod in Fisch.

How To Unlock Tempest Rod in Fisch | Atlantis Update

To unlock the Tempest Rod, you’ll need to access the Sunken Trial in Atlantis (if you need help finding it, check out my detailed guide). Once there, simply go to the shrine marked with storm runes (X: -3821, Y: 178, Z: 2387). This is the entrance to the Sunken Depths Trial.

A notification will pop up when you're nearby, reading: "Two players await, one swims through a maze deep, memorizing symbols; the other awaits, recalls each detail, together unveil the trail." This is a subtle clue that you two people are required to complete the Sunken Trial.

How To Complete Sunken Trial in Fisch | Atlantis Update

To complete the Sunken Trial, take a screenshot of the rune symbols by the shrine—you'll need this for later. Next, ask a friend to stay behind while you equip your Advanced Diving Gear and Super Flippers. Jump into the pool in front of the locked door and swim through the maze.

After some time, you should stumble upon some rune symbols. Press the symbols in the same order they appear at the shrine (here's where the screenshot comes in handy) and have your friend do the same thing. The symbols should flash green if you did it correctly. 

Congratulations, you've completed the Sunken Trial and unlocked the door in Fisch. The Tempest Rod will be against the wall directly underneath the Mythological Clock (X: -4928, Y: -595, Z: 1857). It costs C$1,850,000, making it quite a pricy addition to your fishing rod collection. Here's a look at its stats:

• Lure Speed: 15%
• Luck: 70%
• Control: 0.15
• Resilience: 40%
• Max kg: 80,000kg

The Tempest Rod's in-game description reads: "Born from the essence of a perpetual storm, this rod moves faster than the eye can follow. Its wind-blessed line cuts through water like lightning, allowing for rapid-fire casting and retrieval that leaves other anglers in awe."
