The Jade Sword is a new weapon in Dead Rails, and it’s shaking up everything you thought you knew about power. Hidden behind a bit of exploration, a few intense encounters, and a clever mechanic or two, this item stands out as the most overpowered addition to the game so far.

This guide will explain exactly how to get the Jade Sword in Dead Rails, including all the hidden Jade Tablet and Strange Mask locations.

How To Get The Jade Sword In Dead Rails | Roblox

The Jade Sword is found inside a hidden ritual room within the mine of Sterling. To access this room, you'll need to locate four Jade Tablets. You'll find one inside the church near the back of the town, another behind a minecart near the mine, a third in a chamber where the Strange Mask is located, and the fourth is already slotted in a middle building room where the sword ritual takes place.

You’ll also need a torch and dynamite, both of which can be picked up in Sterling. For example, you can grab a torch from the Sheriff’s office and dynamite from the start of the mine. You'll use these to blow open specific walls in the mine. They're easy to spot, so I'm not going to explain where each breakable wall is located.

Inside the mine, you’ll face off against skeletons and a new zombie type that throws lit dynamite at you. When exploring, look for three barrels — move them aside to access the ritual site where you’ll place the tablets. The Jade Sword will spawn instantly after doing so. Just pick it up.

The Jade Sword is extremely powerful, especially with the Vampire class. It has a 50% chance to turn enemies into allies, which helps soak up aggro. The Strange Mask (optional but highly useful) does the same thing — except it guarantees the ally conversion on kill, though you won’t be able to kill the ally afterward. And yes — it even works on werewolves, vampires, and outlaws.

I suggest leaving the Strange Mask until after you've grabbed the Jade Sword in Dead Rails. If you touch it, werewolves will spawn and try to kill you. They are quite strong, but if you're decent enough at shooting, then you can try to kill them (and the skeletons chasing after you).
