Legendary Bounties in Red Dead Online are specific tasks that players need to complete, where they will need to track down and bring back a person of interest, dead or alive. The game features 10 of these bounties, and Rockstar has now added the ability for players to complete them more than once.
However, they do come with a slight cooldown, meaning you have to wait a while before replaying a bounty or playing a new one. So if you want to know how long this cooldown period is and how often you can replay a Legendary Bounty in Red Dead Online, then keep reading.
How often can you play Legendary Bounties in Red Dead Online?
Unfortunately, Red Dead Online doesn't always make it clear that Legendary Bounties do have a cooldown, as each time you pick one, you must wait a certain amount of time before starting another. This period has been changed in the past, but it is now set to one hour.
To play any of the game's ten bounties, players must first have chosen the Bounty Hunter specialist role, and once that is done, you can access all ten missions from any bounty board by interacting with it and pressing Triangle/Y. (this will be greyed out if the cooldown is still in effect).
Once you have access to the bounty board from your menu, you will then be given a comprehensive list of bounties from which to choose. Once you have made your choice on who to hunt down, the game will initiate the mission and reset the cooldown from that point forward.
Tips for Legendary Bounties in Red Dead Online
As you progress through the game and hunt down your bounties, be sure to prepare for a tense fight, as some of the bounties you hunt are quite tanky enemies. If you plan on making a trek to capture more than one bounty at a time, we recommend taking the Bounty Hunter Wagon as it allows you to carry more than one bounty at a time and deliver them back to the sheriff's office.

But as long as you're aware of the cooldown time of one hour, you're sure to be a bounty-hunting legend as you trek through the world of Red Dead Online.
