There are many Pokémon that players will need to evolve if they wish to fill up their Pokédex in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Most of the mons caught in the wild will be in their first form, meaning that players need to manually evolve them. As in previous games, this makes the Pokémon stronger by making their stats increase and offering new moves. Some Pokémon are a bit trickier to evolve than others, however. Whether it's because players don't know how to evolve them or because there's a special method to do so. Skorupi doesn't involve any special method to evolve but it does require a large amount of time.
Skorupi is a Bug and Poison-type Pokémon in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. It evolves into Drapion, its only evolution in Hisui. If players have played other Pokémon games, such as Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, then they'll know exactly how to evolve Skorupi into Drapion. However, for any newcomers or for those that have forgotten, we'll go over exactly how to do so in the guide below.
Finding and evolving Skorupi in Pokémon Legends: Arceus
First and foremost, players will need to know where they can catch Skorupi in Hisui. There are a couple of locations players can look for the Pokémon but the most common place to catch it is in Cobalt Coastlands. Players can either choose to look for Skorupi on land or in Mass Outbreaks. The areas players can look are Gingko Landing and Castaway Shore. If players don't want to look there, they can also search various locations in Coronet Highlands for Drapion itself. However, Coronet Highlands has low spawn rates for Drapion.

Once Skorupi has been caught, you can focus on evolving it into Drapion. The Bug and Poison-type Pokémon evolves into its next form at level 40, which can be a steep number if you catch Skorupi at a lower level. However, if you find one that has a level around 25-30, it shouldn't take too long to train Skorupi to level 40.
At this point, you can manually evolve Skorupi into Drapion. Doing this gives Drapion a new type, Dark. This is in exchange for the Bug-type, which is advantageous for battling.
That's everything you need to know about evolving Skorupi into Drapion in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
