Coming as a surprise to absolutely no one, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) has made a statement about PocketPair's open-world crafting/survival title, hinting that we might see a Palworld vegan guide appear in the wilds of the internet.
Palworld isn't just a fun, fluffy, and cute game. There's a dark side, as you sell off Pals for parts, slaughter them, create food out of your fluffy friends, and contain them in areas where they definitely can't roam about freely. You can also capture humans and sell them for parts, which the game notes is an inhuman action...so of course, we might see a Palworld vegan guide appear.
PETA Vegan Guide For Palworld Incoming?
PETA has noted that they have already heard from "many Palworld fans" who don't want to eat Pals. What exactly "many" means remains a mystery. It is, however, important to note that the PETA statement about Palworld isn't combative in any sense and rather wants to help those who prefer a vegan Palworld experience.
Insider Gaming got a statement from Elisa Allen, PETA's Vice President (VP) of Programmes:
PETA has already heard from many Palworld fans who have no interest in eating ‘Pals’ and want a vegan guide created for the game. It’s ‘Veganuary’ after all, and gamers want to help animals by eating vegan in their game worlds and outside.
This hints towards an incoming Palworld vegan guide. For reference, PETA has previously provided vegan guides for popular titles, with the vegan Animal Crossing: New Horizons guide springing to mind instantly.
I would personally like to say "good luck" to the person tasked with writing a vegan guide for Palworld since the game's progression system and how you can harvest Pals to make one stronger, specifically, is quite a difficult one to circumvent.
Exactly when the Palworld vegan guide will get released and if it will be possible to defeat the Tower bosses while not harming or eating animals is even possible, remains to be seen. Good luck!
