Palia Trading Tips Quest And Walkthrough

The highly anticipated feature, Plush Trading, has officially debuted for the cozy MMO Palia, as Palians can finally trade and exchange unwanted plushies with other players in-game. This feature will help many round out their collections by parting ways with an overabundance of plushies to secure ones they have yet to own.

This includes the recently released Potato Pods and other plushies acquired from quests, Login Rewards, Twitch Drops, in-game events, and more that qualify to be traded, but a quest awaits them to make the feature accessible. While it may not be soft and cuddly, this guide helps Palians through the Trading Tips quest, including objectives and a walkthrough, to complete it in Palia.

Palia Trading Tips Quest Objectives List

Singularity 6 released the v0.185 patch, the Fall's Flourishes update to PCs and Nintendo Switch consoles, which added plenty of balance changes, Quality-of-Life (QoL) improvements, much-needed adjustments and optimizations, and, of course, new content and features. Of the features added is the Plush Trading feature, which Palians can utilize to make offers and exchange plushies with others like friends, community members, and fellow Palians.

To introduce Palians to the Plush Trading feature, a new quest was made available that Palians can complete as it will grant them an important item needed to trade with others. So, with that said, here are all the objectives Palians must complete for the Trading Tips quest in Palia:

• Ask Zeki about a trading permit
• Pass the quiz
  • Return to Zeki

How To Complete The Trading Tips Quest In Palia?

Plush Trading has gone live in Palia following the release of the v0.185 patch, the Fall's Flourishes update, which Palians can begin progressing towards accessing the feature. After logging into the game, they must make their way to Kilima Village either from their Housing Plot or via the Stable fast travel board to gain entry to the Underground Black Market, where the trading kiosks are to be found.

The Underground Black Market can be accessed in one of three ways, which we've detailed below:

1. Progress the Wares in Low Places quest, which unlocks the first known entrance at The Sewers found along the coast of the Remembrance Garden, where they'll receive access to the Underground Black Market via the General Store.
2. Locate Zeki's General Store, sandwiched between Jel's Tailor Store and Tish's Furniture Store, where they can also find the Spooky Moon Store in front of the landing deck. Head inside the store and go behind the cash register, turning left through the doorway before making their way downstairs and interacting with the "loose book" on the bookshelf to enter the Underground.
3. Progress Reth's Friendship Level 3 quest, Piece of Cake, to access Reth's Storeroom from Ormmu's Horn Inn, which links to the Underground Black Market by walking through the storeroom area.

Once they've accessed the Underground Black Market, locate the Arcade Arena location, where they can find at least five trading kiosks scattered throughout this area and approach one to receive the Trading Tips quest. Speak to Zeki regarding the trading feature: to exchange plushies, they must obtain a trading permit, which can be achieved by passing a quiz.

Find the Quiz-O-Matic statue, a mini Zeki figurine, in the left corner of the Underground Showroom left of the cash register, where they must correctly answer three questions to pass the test and turn in to Zeki. We've successfully passed the test with flying colors, so here are all the questions and their answers to pass the Trading quiz:

• Q1: You've got a special, one-of-a-kind, limited-release Giga Frogbert plush. What would be a fair trade for it?
  • A1: Another limited-release special plush!
• Q2: You've just traded your Potato Pod for someone else's. Now, what can you do?
  • A2: Enjoy my new potato in peace!
• Q3: Someone denied my trade offer! It's okay to:
  • A3: Find someone else to trade with.

Turn in the quest to Zeki if he's still at the Underground Black Market, or he can be found at the General Store, Ormuu's Horn Inn, or his home outside of Kilima Village near the windmill behind the library to complete the quest. Palians will receive one Potato Pod Prize Bag and the trading permit as quest rewards, from which they can begin trading plushies by visiting the kiosks at the Underground Black Market and making offers to receive the plushies they need for their collection.
