As the leaves change color and the weather slowly gets chilly, signaling the Fall season, the skies of Kilima Village are again bright with life and color. The Maji Market returns to Palia as the 0.184 patch update intends to awaken and lift spirits (not the spooky kind) with new and returning minigames, delectable treats, and plenty of rewards on offer.
This also sees a new themed questline surrounding the Maji Market as Palians can begin to explore (and complete for themed rewards), but it does require a trip back home. This guide provides Palians with a detailed walkthrough on completing The Maji Market event quest, objectives are included, for Palia.
Palia The Maji Market Event Quest Objectives List
The first event quest for the return of the popular market, The Maji Market, will begin as soon as Palians log into the game following the end of the maintenance period on 24th September 2024. Regardless of their last known location, they must return to their Housing Plot as a visitor awaits them, who happens to be the village mayor, Kenli.
Speak with Kenli, who cordially (and personally) invites them to the Maji Market at the Fairgrounds before handing them The Maji Market quest to begin the Fall season festivities. Let's look at the objectives to follow and complete for The Maji Market event quest in Palia:
- Check out The Maji Market while it's open (6 pm and 3 am)
- 0/6 Talk to the Villagers running the booth
How To Complete The Maji Market Event Quest In Palia?
Once Kenli leaves their Housing Plot, depending on the in-game time (between 6 pm and 3 am), they'll have to head to the Fairgrounds in eastern Kilima Village, where the Whispering Banks Stable board is the nearest Fast Travel point. They'll need to cross the waybridge in this area to find the decorated entranceway leading to the Kilima Village Fairgrounds, where they can start visiting all the booths or stalls available at the market.
The order of which stalls to visit doesn't matter; however, what does is who they visit and speak to. Palians can visit and speak with Kenyatta, Delaila, Zeki, Reth, Hodari, and Najuma, and they'll receive various items from each Villager, from food items to Maji Market Tickets.
Whichever Villager NPC they decide to visit last will conclude The Maji Market event quest, which, if they previewed the Fairgrounds map, there are objective markers on a handful of Villager NPCs to pick up the following quests. Additionally, with the Fairgrounds open to Palians to explore, they can start participating in the various minigames like the Chapaa Chase and Pop-A-Chapaa, play the Maji Market drums at the amphitheater, or locate the various Maji Market chests that can be found.
Completing these minigames will help them progress the event's Stamp Cards that are active during the Maji Market to earn additional rewards, including balloons, standees, Plush toys and Maji Market Tickets to name. Also, the Maji Market is open on specific dates and times listed by the developer; the first week is between 24th and 30th September 2024, and it will return for one week in the remaining months of 2024.
