Players have begun their adventures for the Temple of Roots through its questline after receiving its first three quests from Einar. If they opt to start the Keeper of Waves quest, their progression will come to a halt once they've interacted with the Mysterious Device, who requests an Access Code.
Finding the Access Code won't be easy as they'll be looking for a four-letter word, but without a clue, they won't know where to start. Luckily for Palians, we've found the Access Code, as we explained where to find it inside the Hydroflow overseer station for the Keeper of Waves quest in Palia.
Where To Find The Keeper Of Waves Access Code In Palia?
After locating the trap door of a Mysterious Tunnel in Mirror Fields, entering the tunnel will lead them to the location of the Hydroflow overseer station. As one of the objectives for the Keeper of Waves quest, they'll be tasked with overriding the lockdown protocol, which will allow Hekla to enter the Temple of Roots in Bahari Bay.
The lockdown protocol sequence can be initiated by interacting with a Galdur-looking Mysterious Device found in the center of the station, which, once interacting with it, gives them two options: to log in or exit. Selecting the login option requests an Access Code, which allows them to access the station, but it does provide them with a clue: Hephaestus' nickname.
Players will struggle to find the clue for the Access Code; however, the code can be found at the Hydroflow overseer station by reading the log entries scattered here. The specific log entry they need to find and read, "Betrayal," is found on the table to the left of the Mysterious Device. In it, a four-letter word, ASTA, is written and can be used to log into the Mysterious Device.
After reading the messages and viewing the Temple Status, they can initiate the lockdown protocol sequence by disengaging it. Palians are then free to continue completing the Keeper of Waves quest before moving on to its subsequent quest, Keeper of Flames and Gales, for the Temple of Roots questline in Palia.
