Palia Into The Fire Quest And Walkthrough

The investigation continues as Subira discovers a lead following the conclusion of the Troubled Waters quest, leading them to Bahari Bay. This begins the second act at the end of the Prologue questline with the Into the Fire quest, in which they'll travel to one of the remaining temples in this vast area to gain more information on the Cosmos Protocol.

As they'll be looking for another console hidden inside the temple central in this specific quest, where will the next lead point, Palians and Subira, help them with their investigations? This fiery guide will address this question by listing the objectives and providing a walkthrough for the Into the Fire quest in Palia.

Palia Into The Fire Quest Objectives List

The conclusion of the Prologue quest was introduced in the v0.186 update, which requires Palians to complete the main questline until the Strange Things Afoot quest, which wraps in this update. With four new quests added to the base game for Palians to complete, they'll be revisiting each temple across these quests, starting with the Troubled Waters quest, which finishing it unlocks the next quest, Into the Fire.

This quest continues their investigations with The Order's Subira, this time inside the Temple of the Flames at the Flooded Fortress. Before we detail a walkthrough on completing this quest, we've provided all the objectives to help them progress this quest in Palia:

How To Complete The Into The Fire Quest In Palia?

The following quest, Into the Fire, is immediately given to Palians after completing the Troubled Waters quest, in which Subira learns that the trail has continued toward the Flooded Fortress in Bahari Bay. This is where the Temple of the Flames resides, and it's located west or southwest of the Ancient Aqueduct, where they can either use the Pavel Mines or the Flooded Fortress entrance from the Outskirts Stable Board.

If Palians have yet to unlock this temple, they must complete its questline, beginning with Plumehound Pilgrimage, and continue progressing with the main questline until they've completed Strange Things Afoot and the Troubled Waters quests. Once they arrive at the Temple of the Flames, they enter the temple to meet up with Subira, prompting Palians to investigate it, which starts from the foyer section.

Head to the foyer, where they can start their investigations by finding a trail of footprints going to the left side of the foyer, where they can use their Glider to glide across towards the Pyroflow pipe. Climb up the grated platform, where they'll find another set of footprints, and another grated platform, where they'll find a door with the final set of footprints where an Ancient Tome and another runestone are on the right ledge.

Speak to Subira, who'll inform Palians that in order to unlock the door, they'll need to find a key, which can be found by using their Fishing Rod, and locate the open Pyroflow pond nearby. With the key retrieved and the door unlocked, they can chat to Subira once again, wondering what the Cosmos Protocol is and what information may be stored on the next console as they continue their investigations, but there are a few obstacles in the way.

There are three obstacle stages to pass through, which require their bow and the arrows gifted to them by Subira, as well as a pickaxe for the later stages. The first stage has them standing on a moving platform while firing arrows aimed at the symbol beneath the cauldron to light them up until they reach the end, where they can jump onto the grated platform to get to the next obstacle stage.

The next obstacle stage will have them repeat the same objective of firing arrows to light up cauldrons while avoiding lasers to get to the end of this obstacle stage. The final stage combines the lasers and firing at cauldrons with breaking stone walls blocking the path before finding the last grate to climb.

They'll enter a chamber room where the console is located, and they can interact with it to learn what information is stored on the console. Like the console inside the Temple of the Waves, this console only contains information on someone disengaging the Cosmos Protocol within the same timeframe as the last console.

Reconvene with Subira, she reveals that the Kitsuu had some of the intruder's possessions and has found the next lead, which points to the Temple of the Gales. This concludes the Into the Fire quest, in which they'll be awarded 15 Renown and the next quest, Up in the Air, to continue the investigation at the Temple of the Gales.
