Palia has hidden plenty of lore within collectible items and side quests across Kilima Village and Bahari Bay for many to discover. These bits of information either foreshadow characters and events that have yet to occur or provide background details on the game's history and its citizens.

Perhaps the most mysterious is the Grimalkin Zeki, about whom Palians have slowly learned some background details, but a few pieces of treasure may uncover more about him. This guide explains the lost vault of the Grimalkin legend, Zurian, and its treasures and how to find them in Palia.

During their adventures in Kilima Village, Palians will stumble across tidbits of lore surrounding multiple characters that inhabit this location and neighboring Bahari Bay. The Grimalkin businessman Zeki is often mysterious yet cunning with his business and marketing strategies, but not much is known about this character until they discover a random item within a Rummage Pile.

Finding this item from a Rummage Pile in Bahari Bay triggers the side quest, Signet Ring, for which they are to return this item to Zeki. At this point, Palians will learn more about Zeki, the history of the Grimalkins and the Palian Council, and the subsequent Palian Unification Wars through dialogue with him.

They'll learn about an apprentice that Zeki took under his wing, Zoraya, who was in pursuit of Zurian's lost vault, which they succeeded but was lost at sea; hence, some of the treasures washed up ashore in Bahari Bay. Zeki prompts Palians to return any treasures that may be found, which they must continue searching through Rummage Piles in Bahari Bay to find all of them.

Currently, seven items belonging to Zurian's lost vault can be found, which triggers their related side quest. They can be found inside Rummage Piles in Bahari Bay, which refreshes daily at 4 am UTC / 12 am ET / 9 pm PT and we have detailed their known locations in Bahari Bay.

Below is a list of all lost Grimalkin treasures that are found from the Bahari Bay Rummage Piles that were inside Zurian's lost vault, the quests that are triggered upon finding each item, and the rewards earned:

  • Signet Ring: This item triggers the Signet Ring quest, which rewards ten Renown upon completion

After turning in the last item to Zeki, they'll learn that Zeki was betrayed by Zoraya, who sank Zeki's ship as he was en route to deliver them to a Grimalkin cartel boss. As he had lost the treasures in the ocean, Zeki was sent to Kilima Village as punishment and to repay the cartel boss, of which he can safely return these lost vault treasures as debt.
