While they can help her resolve this problem by giving her some fertilizer, what if they chose the other dialogue option that starts the Berry Blues Friendship quest?

Crickets have ruined Delaila's chances of participating in a pie competition at the Festival of Bounties; she has no Blueberries, which she must replant and harvest or let her rival best her once again. But this problem can be averted by helping her out in a pinch for her Friendship quest, Berry Blues.

As one of two Friendship quests, the other being Fertile Ground, which players must choose from, they can bring her some blueberries so that she can make her famous Blueberry Pie. We've listed all the objectives required to be completed for the Berry Blues Friendship quest:

How To Complete The Berry Blues Friendship Quest In Palia?

Berry Blues is Delaila's Friendship level 3 quest that players can accept; however, it's one of two options they can choose to complete. After speaking with Delaila, her Blueberry bushes were destroyed by the crickets during The Cricket Problem Friendship quest, as Delaila finds herself in a difficult situation. 

With no blueberries to harvest, which she needs for the Festival of Bounties pie competition, players can decide between two unique dialogue options that will be presented to them: either give her Blueberries or fertilizer, which the latter starts the Fertile Ground Friendship quest. If they choose the Blueberries option, this starts the Berry Blues Friendship quest, which they can provide her with Star-Quality Blueberries they harvested from their crops.

This will take some time to acquire as Star-Quality Blueberries are only harvested from Blueberry bushes, but once they have all ten, they can return to Delaila with their delivery of freshly picked berries. As she's planning on using them to make a jam featured in a pie she'll make at the Festival of Bounties pie competition, she'll reward players with 20 Renown, ten Butter, her room key, and improving their Friendship with her.

Do visit her room at their farmhouse, as the Apple Pie recipe can be found on the counter, and players can make Apple Pie when interacting with the Standard Oven at the Housing Plot. Post-quest, a letter from Delaila comes with one Star-Quality Blueberry Pie that she made, which can be used to complete the Hunger Pains Discovery quest.

Palia is currently available via the Epic Games Store and in Open Beta for PC, as players can install the game launcher detailed in this guide. The game is now available to download for Nintendo Switch as of 14th December 2023.
