The v0.172 patch update for the cozy MMO Palia introduced Rummage Piles, where they can scavenge them to discover something of great interest. This includes various resources like Sapwood Logs, Stones, and Worms to a blueprint for the Kilima Rummage Piles Furniture Set and Found quests.
Of the latter, they can begin the Back in Tow quest after finding a vinyl record hidden in one of the Rummage Piles. Players looking to hit the right note can learn where to find the quest and how to complete the Back in Town quest for Palia.
Palia Back In Town Quest Objectives List
Palia’s v0.172 patch update added new interactable items called Rummage Piles, which spawn in different locations throughout Kilima Village and Bahari Bay. Often left behind by Chapaas, they leave large dirty heaps but can be pretty valuable when searching them.
This is how players will receive the new Found Quest, Back in Town, where they’ll unearth a vinyl record of a popular boy band, Bahari Boyz; however, they need to find out who it belongs to. If they have received this quest and want to complete it promptly, they can view all the quest objectives for the Back in Town quest in Palia:
- Find the owner of the Bahari Boyz Record.
How To Complete The Back In Town Quest In Palia?
After discovering a Bahari Boyz vinyl record in a Rummage Pile, we found ours atop a cliff south of the Daiya Family Farm in Leafhopper Hills, although it may be randomized. Most Villagers in Kilima Village will be marked as they’ll need to speak to each Villager to trace the record’s owner.
If they wish to find the person directly, depending on the time of day, they can find Kenyatta either at City Hall, the Library or by the Kilima Village Central Stables Fast Travel board. After sharing some dialogue with her, they’ll learn that the record belongs to Nai’o, who left it with Kenyatta before it went missing.
Explicitly asking not to inform Nai’o about the record’s disappearance, they can inquire more about Bahari Boyz or reveal themselves as fans. As payment for the discovery and silence on the matter, players will keep the Bahari Boyz vinyl record and receive Kenyatta’s Record Player, which can be placed in their home; however, they can’t play the record on the player, which may be a Quality of Life (QoL) update to arrive soon.
Palia is currently available via the Epic Games Store and in Open Beta for PC, as players can install the game launcher detailed in this guide. The game is now available to download for Nintendo Switch as of 14th December 2023.
