The holiday season is here in Overwatch 2, and with that, players can enjoy four winter-themed modes that include Mei's Snowball Offensive, Snowball Deathmatch, Yeti Hunter, and Freezethaw Elimination. Among these, in Snowball Deathmatch mode, you need to make your own snowballs and throw them at the opponents to eliminate them.
Now, while you are busy making snowballs, the enemies can hit you with their snowballs, and to counter this, you can learn a trick that will allow you to catch the incoming snowballs and throw them back at the opponents. Here is how to do it.
How to Catch A Snowball in Overwatch 2
In order to catch a snowball in Snowball Deathmatch in Overwatch 2, you will have to press your melee button just before the snowball hits you. By default, these buttons are V on PC, R3 on PlayStation, and RS on Xbox; however, make sure that you don't press it too early or too late, as you will then get hit by the snowball.
Not only this, this feature has a cooldown period of a few seconds, so you won't be able to spam the button to catch a snowball. While this is a risky trick, once you get a hold of it after practice, it can give you an extra over the opponents in the game.
