Nintendo's Year In Review 2024 Goes Live With Personalized Stats, Recap Sharing & More

As we say goodbye to yet another amazing year of video games, on the back of numerous releases and surprising game announcements, it's time to reflect and recap our gaming experiences. With Sony having already made their Wrap-Up experience available to PlayStation owners and Xbox's Year in Review live, Steam and Nintendo were next to follow suit.

Nintendo has mailed all account holders recently to inform them that their recap feature has been made available so they can reflect on this past year's gaming experiences. Account holders, too, are encouraged to share them across social media with the hashtag #NintendoSwitch2024 to create and continue discussions on the best games they've played and relive these moments with others.

The Year in Review is a recap feature that allows players to view their yearly statistics for its designated platform, which includes the games they've played, the Achievements they've unlocked, hours spent, and more. Nintendo has made its annual recap feature available so that Nintendo account owners can look back on their gaming experiences on Switch hardware.

Some features in Nintendo's recap experience include a breakdown of hours spent playing games on the Switch console and their favorite genres based on gaming preferences. Additionally, they can also make their picks for the best or their favorite game of 2024, for which Nintendo will provide them with recommendations of games they may enjoy based on what they've played this year.

And yes, there is a functionality to share their Nintendo Year in Review to various social media platforms using a specific hashtag they've provided. There are additional functionalities to download their Year in Review recap along with image preference if they wish to share them away from the eyes of social media or with family and friends around the table at Christmas.
